The above and beyond quota

So today at work I did what I would say is 4 above and beyond things. I stocked a nourishment fridge, build and passed out an extra floor, took dinner orders on my half day, and stocked a lunch fridge that was not from my floor. (I work in hospital food service). I also then decided I could do 2 above and beyond things a month. . . but really that is silly. It is those small acts of kindness that truly mean the most. They don't have to be noticed or acknowledged, I just have to know I did something to better others lives. So I challenge everyone to do things more than they need to. I'm not talking donating money or items, that is simple and lazy and while yes it is important and please do donate items take time from your life to really help other people because in the end that is what matters. It remind of me of a quote to end on well I don't remember the quote but it goes along the lines of leave things to do until tomorrow and go out with friends tonight because if tomorrow doesn't come those things will still be there for someone to do but the time with you wont.
